The Jon Adams, MJA Consulting's Geographic Information Systems guru, has been burning the midnight oil preparing map series for City of Sebring 's Evaluation and Appraisal Report and the City of Clewiston 's Community Redevelopment Plan as well as a number of real estate developments.
Clients who wish to deal with complex data in as concise a format as possible are realizing that it's true that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Maps showing conditions in 1990 and 2007 are invaluable to show the change in conditions from then till now. Using this information helps government to manage infrastructure such as sewer, water and transportation systems and to predict the most efficient routes for school busses, set priorities for road repairs and of course collect taxes. MJA consulting uses mapping as much as possible to produce lean and easily readable documents for our clients.
LAND PLANNING SERVICES
The City of Clewiston has a new Community Redevelopment Plan.
MJA Consulting, LLC, worked with the Community of Clewiston to develop the Community Redevelopment Plan for the CRA. The MJA team used a number of Real Estate Analysis, Urban and Interior Design Analysis, and Community Economic Analysis to prepare information for a community workshop. Beyond the workshop, the team worked with key stakeholders, local governments and community groups like the City of Clewiston Chamber of Commerce , Rotary Club, and Lyons Club to provide community input into the plan. The result, nine community based goals with accompanying action plan was accepted by the City of Clewiston City Commission at their May meeting.
URBAN DESIGN SERVICES
MJA Consulting has a commitment to provide cutting edge Urban Design Services to its client base. Tracy Mullins, MSc, is taking Central Florida University 's Urban Design course this fall as part of the Graduate Certificate Program in Urban and Regional Planning. This is the 3 rd Masters level Urban Design Course for Tracy, as he likes to keep up with the latest innovations in urban design to pass on to our customers.

MJA Consulting LLC has prevailed over 9 other planning companies in being awarded the Clewiston Community Redevelopment Agency, Redevelopment Plan Contract. MJA Consulting LLC's team has high technical skills, international experience and small town values which have enabled us to develop community redevelopment as a specialty market. Highly satisfied customers have, through word of mouth, helped to promote our practice in CRA planning. MJA Consulting, LLC will perform infrastructure and mapping inventory and analysis, public involvement, real estate analysis and planning and the delivery of the CRA redevelopment plan.
